Dr. Tonya Lindsell grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended Brebeuf Preparatory school. Dr. Lindsell's grandmother peaked her interest in eyecare at a very young age. Her grandmother was blind from retinitis pigmentosa.
Dr. Lindsell went on to graduate from The College of Charleston receiving her bachelor degree in Science and Biology. She then attended Indiana University's Optometry school receiving her doctor of Optometry degree. She has been practicing optometry since 2003. In 2006 Dr. Lindsell fulfilled more of her dream when she purchased her practice inside Lenscrafters.
She also is a member of the American Optometric Association and served as zone governor. She remains involved in volunteer organizations for the eye including OneSight.
Dr. Lindsell specializes in primary care of the eye such as contact lenses, glaucoma, cataract co-management, LASIK co-management, and eye infections. Dr. Lindsell is married to Luke Lindsell who is an ophthalmologist who specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous at Cincinnati Eye Institute. She is a very proud mother of three children; Carly, Connor, and Cooper. Her favorite hobbies are being a mom and spending time with her family traveling!
